Christopher Smith is a local software executive with expertise in software development, systems integration, and communication technology. Consequently, he was has been consulting for the Canadian government for seven years in the information technology field.

Chris’s desire to foster a more transparent and engaging dialogue extends to his daily work on the CSEDEV website, where he blogs about issues related innovation, communication, and collaboration within the public sector. Because of his work, he currently resides in Gatineau, Quebec, but was born in Brockville, Ontario, Canada.

As a contributor to the CSEDEV blog, Julia writes about collaborative software, innovation management, open government and open data initiatives, and other developments that herald a new global paradigm through technology. She is based in Los Angeles.
